Tahini Turmeric Sauce

Tahini Turmeric Sauce is bright, vibrant and full of flavour. Better yet it can be paired with almost anything from roasted veggies, salad, meat to potatoes or rice. It’s a supper saviour.

Ingredients

  • 100 g tahini
  • 120 g plant-based milk
  • ½ lemon juice only
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Pour all the above ingredients into a blender, food mixer and blend/whisk together until smooth. Or add into a medium sized bowl and use a hand whisk.
  • Use straightaway or store for up to a week in the fridge.

Notes

This recipe makes 250g tahini sauce.
Plant-based milk. I like to use this Homemade Almond Milk, but you can use cashew milk, oat milk or coconut milk.
The sauce thickens as it chills in the fridge so if you prefer a looser sauce then whisk in a little more milk just before serving.
