- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion granules

- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon gluten-free worcestershire sauce optional
- 1 drop / spray liquid smoke optional
Mix all of the ingredients together in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil, turn down and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool before using / serving.
- Makes 250g.
- If you can't find a gluten-free worcestershire sauce (note. Lea & Perrins and most supermarket brands are not gluten-free) then just omit.
- If you can't find / don't want to use liquid smoke then you can just omit.
- You can use this sauce for marinating, grilling or as a dipping sauce.
- You need about 200g for coating 6-8 chicken drumsticks, thighs, pork belly slices, salmon fillets or 12 sausages. There will then be about 50g leftover for basting on your meat either towards the end of cooking or after it’s been cooked for an ultra sticky sauce.
- The sauce will last for up to 2 weeks in the fridge covered in an airtight container.
